Our story
The concept for In The Swing Leadership began on the golf course, with a small golfing group of business leaders looking for a supportive environment to share their thoughts and learn from each other’s experiences.
In a 24/7 connected world with all the stresses of a busy modern life, we all find it hard to truly switch off. For me, the golf course has always been a place where my best ideas come to the surface, somewhere I can take time to reflect, share my successes and perhaps learn from my mistakes.
Golf is a much needed escape but the competitive edge often means it can be a difficult place to truly open up.
I saw a unique chance to combine my passion for the sport with my expertise and take traditional leadership development outside – away from the stillness of training and conference rooms – to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
We will give you the development path and peer support you need to grow, and to explore and overcome the key challenges faced by leaders, in a way that we know works.
Ultimately, I want more people to share the experience I had, transforming a hobby into an essential life-affirming opportunity to flourish and succeed.
